South Asia

South Asia is a region located in the southern part of the Asian continent, comprising of eight countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. It is known for its rich cultural heritage, ancient history, and diverse landscapes, including the Himalayan mountain range, the fertile Indus and Ganges river valleys, and the vast Thar desert.

South Asia is home to a diverse mix of ethnic and religious groups, including Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Christians, among others.
